October month has witnessed new variants of W32/Vaklik, W32/Magania, W32/Koobface and W32/Agent. Also there were some new trojans and worms discovered in this month. Users are advised to update the Virus signatures on daily basis to keep abreast against these potentially harmful malware.

These are the potential threats discovered in the month of October 2009.

W32/Refroso.JUQ Trojan
W32/Swisyn.CAV Trojan
W32/AInfBot.O Worm
W32/BSpread.B Worm

We advice users to be cautious on downloading and executing any attachment received through email or downloaded. Apart from the above mentioned malware, many variants of W32/OnLineGames, W32/SdBot, W32/Buzus and W32/Autorun were discovered.
