How do I update Protector Plus antivirus signatures? What is InstaUpdate?
InstaUpdate feature of Protector Plus will ensure that the latest version of Protector Plus is installed on your computer, through a process that is automated and not requiring your intervention. It does this by checking the Proland site for updates at a pre-set frequency. If an update is found, it will download, and install the latest version automatically. InstaUpdate is enabled only on licensed versions.

I am unable to download Protector Plus virus signatures using InstaUpdate?
How do I configure proxy settings for InstaUpdate?
1. Open Protector Plus scanner.
2. In the left pane of the scanner, click 'InstaUpdate' tab. This will open 'InstaUpdate' window.
3. Select 'Use Proxy Server' check box.
4. Enter the valid Proxy server address in text box provided next to 'Address:' text.
5. Enter the Port address in text box provided next to 'Port:' text.
6. Enter the User name and the Password. If your Proxy server requires authentication in text box provided next to the respective 'User Name:' and 'Password:' texts.
When InstaUpdate is run there is an error message displayed. What is this message?
